There is no room in first floor is as per plan. My larger plan in old age is to shift in ground floor house and use this duplex house for pension :-)

I have to demolish the whole house and it is load bearing. You are right, I should get the common wall disconnected then start the remaining demolition. Any suggestion on the foundation?
